Tomorrow Sees The End Of A Saga As Breaking Bad Airs Final Episode

28 Sep

After five massively popular and award-winning seasons, tomorrow AMC will air the series finale of Breaking Bad. To celebrate Vince Gilligan’s drama about meth-cooking cancer patient Walter White, many of the show’s cast members have appeared on late-night talk shows over the past few weeks. Jimmy Fallon had previously done a parody featuring cast members Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul and Bob Odenkirk. Conan O’Brien also dedicated an entire episode of his show, Conan, to the show. A clip of his interview with the cast can be seen below.

AMC also released a teaser video to increase the already enormous hype for Breaking Bad’s final episode. It shows a brief glimpse of a beardy, rugged Walt who was seen at the beginning of Season 5: Episode 9. It’s unlikely that this will be necessary, however, as last week’s episode drew an all-time high 6.6 million viewers.

There are still several loose ends that need to be addressed in tomorrow’s episode, and last week’s “Granite State” did not have a jaw-dropping moment like Hank’s death the week before. Will Walt kill Uncle Jack, or will he go down in a blaze of glory? Will Jesse kill Todd, aka “Meth Damon,” or will Vince Gilligan have something completely unexpected? It will all be revealed at 9 p.m. EST tomorrow!

Ohio Comic Con

26 Sep

Comic Con came to Ohio this past weekend from September 20th – September 22nd and got the opportunity to take part in the festivities. While I was there, I decided to walk around with the good ole camera and capture some of the event. Since I know many people couldn’t make it but probably would’ve liked to be there, I decided to share some of the footage I captured to give you a tease. You might just feel like you were there. While watching be on the look out for Lou Ferrigno, Sara Underwood, William Shatner, and even Stan Lee…well kind of. Also, I must warn you, I suffer from shaky camera syndrome.

Leave a comment if you want to complain about the person behind the camera or if you want to just talk about a Comic Con you been to. Just make sure you address your complaints to Nathan Gordon.

Breaking Bad Approaching The Finish Line

22 Sep

With the acclaimed television series Breaking Bad set to air its final episodes over the coming two Sundays, AMC has begun a massive push to ensure that Vince Gilligan’s creation can go out with the attention it deserves. The official Breaking Bad blog revealed a poster for the show’s final episode, and in a fashion atypical of these types of promotions, the poster doesn’t foreshadow or allude to any story elements; instead it only features a picture of the RV that Jesse and Walt so famously used to get their start.

AMC will also be airing a five-day marathon of the show leading up to its final episode, beginning on September 25th, and the final two episodes of the show will be extended, allowing the show to avoid rushing through its conclusion.

Perhaps most amazing about Breaking Bad is that although lead actor Bryan Cranston was originally known as a goofy comedian from his time on Malcolm in the Middle, he is now one of the most respected names in entertainment. Co-star Aaron Paul has also received much acclaim for his performance, and is set to star in Need for Speed next year, based on the popular video game from Electronic Arts. It’s a far cry from his time on this show:
